Description: This upswept skinner by Raymond Richard has an ageless sense of grace that is rarely found in knives by other makers. The blade was forged to shape from the leaf spring of a 1930's Hupmobile. The Hupmobile was produced from 1909 through 1939 by the Hupp Motor Car Company, but ceased production before the end of the Great Depression. The blade has been antiqued with a mustard finish for an heirloom appearance.
The wrought iron for the guard, ferrule, and pommel were forged from an 1800s era anchor chain. Stag forms the handle -- resulting in a secure, comfortable grip.
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
