Description: It is rare to find one of Bob Lay's Minis. Despite the 3-1/4 inch blade length, this little knife packs a wallop. It is a perfect size for skinning even the largest game, yet its compact size makes it easy to keep close at your side.
The handle is formed from a solid piece of elk antler and is nicely offset by a stabilized dyed spacer formed from box elder burl.
The stainless steel guard and butt cap create a perfect balance in the hand. By mirror polishing the flats of the blade and satin finishing the grinds, Bob creates a knife with grind lines that are very dramatic. The premium CPM154 stainless steel blade is tempered to 59 Rc for optimal edge retention. This powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it!
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
Accompanied by leather sheath, certificate from the maker and a Cordura storage pouch.
