Description: Chris Reeve knives continues their proud tradition of honoring the US military's elite forces with the Pacific. The Pacific is a collaboration with famed knifemaker/designer Bill Harsey who specializes in tactical designs. The Pacific is the civilian version of the knife created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of 1st Special Forces. BladeGallery is very pleased to add the Pacific to our lineup as 1st Special Forces Group is based out of Ft. Lewis, Washington. 1st Group's theatre of operations is Asia and the Pacific, so the name Pacific has been chosen to honor the home and work place of these fine soldiers.
The hollow ground CPM S35VN stainless steel blade features a clip-point design with an aggressively ground swedge. This transitions to an elegantly rounded spine perfect for batoning through wood. A double row of serrations are placed just in front of the comfortably rounded choil. Jimping on the thumb ramp is mirrored on the underside of the hilt for increased grip retention. The black canvas micarta scales are nicely contoured to fill the palm and flared at the pommel. A glass-breaker is integrated with the lanyard hole.
Accompanied by a multicam Combat Master nylon sheath.
