Description: Jack Cory was a knifemaker out of Hamilton, MT. He was well known for making exquisite, one-of-a-kind folding knives and hunters. He was a quintessential outdoorsman and he and his wife Jackie spent much of their free days hiking and camping in the Bitterroot. He was an avid hunter. Unfortunately Jack passed away on Feb 27th, 2006. This knife has been in a single private collection since it was made. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday.
The blade is made from ATS-34 stainless steel and features a satin finished hollow grind. The spine is nicely fileworked.
DymondWood scales are on full tang. Red fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle is set with mosaic pins.
The knife is accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath.
Nice work throughout!
