Description: This beautiful hunting knife was created by Bob Crowder of Thompson Falls, Montana. Bob sold his first knife back in 1985 and is currently serving as President of the Montana Knifemakers Association.
The blade is formed from hollow ground ATS-34 stainless steel and features a high mirror polish. ATS-34 provides superior rust resistance while retaining excellent edge retention. A distal tapered spine and tang provide excellent balance in hand. The spine has been nicely domed to provide comfort during extended use.
Heavily textured Sambar stag scales are dovetailed to 416 stainless steel bolsters. Red fiber spacers provide a touch of contrast. A finger choil provides a perfect rest for precise cutting tasks while ramped bolsters make the knife very comfortable to hold -- particularly for skinning tasks.
To keep the knife close at hand, Bob included a custom fitted leather sheath.
