Description: Australian knifemaker Towball Weightman is a friend of Mastersmith Bill Burke. His work is exceptional and shows a tremendous amount of skill at the forge.
The mosaic damascus blade was forged from 15N20 and 1084 carbon steels. By forging close to shape, Towball ensures optimal edge holding. The recurve blade has a long false edge. The complex pattern immediately grabs attention.
The guard and ferrule are formed from twist pattern damascus (also forged from 15N20 and 1084 carbon steels). Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes.
The contoured handle is formed from a solid piece of stabilized buckeye burl. It swells at the palm, moves into a slimmer waist and swells again at the end. The handle is extremely comfortable. This is a knife that you won't want to put down!
