Description: Hayabusa means "Peregrine Falcon" in Japanese -- the fastest animal on the planet. Like its namesake, this folder is light, fast and strong!
Australian born knifemaker Glenn Waters spent much of his adult life in Japan. His unique style combines Japanese and European aesthetics to create dramatic masterworks.
Hayabusa combines a premium S35VN powdered metallurgical (PM) stainless steel blade with a textured titanium frame. S35VN has tremendous wear resistance coupled with high corrosion resistance and ensures a superior, high performing edge. The satin finished blade features a recurved tanto blade. It rides on ceramic bearings and is easily opened using the front flipper mechanism. The blade is perfectly centered with silky-smooth action.
At just 2.4 oz, Hayabusa is light weight and fast. The textured titanium frame surrounds a partial titanium backstrap. The sturdy titanium lock has an adjustable face lock for if the lock face ever wears. The machined, textured titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Exceptional work throughout!
