Description: Journeyman Smith Mardi Meshejian is one of the true innovators of artful knife designs. This folder is both creative and captivating, while being extremely useful. The compact size makes it easy to keep this knife close at hand, yet the three finger handle is tremendously comfortable and secure.
Mardi began by forging the blade to shape from 1080 and 15N20 carbon steels. The extended tang draws its inspiration from the Japanese higonokami. The blade has smooth action and securely locks open with a frame lock.
The handle is formed from titanium, which has been machined and anodized. The handle is completed with a matching titanium pocket clip. A barrel spacer and partial damascus backspacer give the knife great stability, while keeping it light and fast.
Excellent work throughout! This is a knife that would feel be perfect for most any collection, yet it is so practical, that it will be tough not to make it an EDC.
