Description: Henry Hilden is a master of the Swedish Bowie and this one is his work at its best!
The 6.4 inch blade was forged by hand from three separate bars of twist pattern damascus. By combining three separate bars, Henry has created a blade that is particularly captivating in its complexity. He clean, dramatic grind lines, nicely complement the writhing steel.
The handle is formed from a central section of stabilized cross cut oak. Spacers formed from mammoth ivory and oak are separated with bronze and .925 silver. A 'bolster' and pommel are formed from matching mammoth ivory. The front and rear shows off the dramatic bark ivory.
The knife is accompanied by a handle tooled traditional Swedish leather sheath.
Excellent work throughout!
