Description: South African knifemaker George Muller creates an exceptional knife! This piece is gorgeous.
The hollow ground, distal tapered blade is formed from blackout pattern stainless damascus forged by Chad Nichols. A ruby inlaid thumbstud is set up for right hand opening.
Ancient wooly mammoth molar provides the material for the scales, which incorporate blues, caramels, and cream tones. These eye-catching scales meet bolsters formed from Odin's Eye damascus by Sweden's Damasteel. The bolsters have been dovetailed to the mammoth tooth for a perfect fit. Lightly anodized titanium liners sandwich a deeply etched back strap made from Hakkapella stainless damascus also from Damasteel. Fine screws retaining the scales and bolsters are gold plated.
Excellent fit and finish throughout! The knife is easy to keep close at hand in the cape buffalo hide belt pouch. A memorable and beautiful piece.
