Description: The Heavin Forge team, led by Mastersmiths Kevin and Heather Harvey, make exceptional knives and this Persian Style Khanjar is a dramatic example of their work.
The 8-1/4 inch blade was forged to shape and deeply etched. The fine random pattern is a perfect match for the swooping dagger grind.
The down swept handle is formed from giraffe bone with nickel silver pins. The giraffe bone is carved with perfectly spaced finger grooves. The stacked S-guard is formed from antiqued copper. Each side is inlaid with amethyst gem stones in gypsy settings.
The knife is accompanied by a sheath formed from beechwood, wrapped in brown ostrich leather. A sheep wool throat and copper tip complete the presentation. Exceptional work throughout!
