Description: This stunning cane sword is the work of PJ Tomes and every inch of it shows the hand of the Mastersmith. This cane has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. It does not appear to have ever been carried.
The handle of this great looking walking stick is formed from 20,000 - 30,000 year old mammoth ivory. The presentation grade maple haft is finished with a carved buffalo horn tip.
A simple twist frees the 19-1/2 inch blade, made exclusively for gentleman’s walking sticks by Clarkson of England. The blade is friction fit to the handle so that it is possible to remove the blade and carry the cane legally in any jurisdiction. The fit between the shaft and blade is exceptional -- and all the more so considering the shaft is one solid piece. Superb craftsmanship!
