Description: Wayne Whittaker makes folders that immediately grab attention, and this one won't disappoint fans of his work! The hollow ground blade, along with front and rear bolsters, are formed from Robert Eggerling mosaic damascus. The chosen steel combines two complementary damascene patterns with finely wrought details, resulting in a knife that is a beautiful, functional piece of art. A faceted ruby is set in the thumb stud, and a matching ruby is set into the spine. Unique mammoth tooth scales have dramatic blue 'veins' traveling through the tones of cream and brown, the pattern of which complements the heat-blued blade. The scales are perfectly fit to heat blued mosaic damascus bolsters. Both the liners and backbar have been meticulously hand fileworked, along with the screws and pommel. The backbar is inlaid with two sections of matching mammoth tooth, and a whimsical mosaic pin set into the pommel completes the piece. Excellent work throughout.
