Description: A stunning Wayne Whittaker folding knife! The blade is formed from Mike Norris stainless ladder pattern damascus. The damascene pattern has excellent chatoyancy (the same effect as a tiger's eye gemstone) when rotated. The bolsters are formed from Robert Eggerling mosaic damascus, featuring bold greens, purples and silver tones. The highly complex patterns are immediately captivating -- both from a distance and upon closer examination.
The earthy tones of the dinosaur bone nicely contrast five faceted rubies set in the thumb stud and spine. These same tones perfectly offset the Eggerling damascus and the blue anodized titanium of the liners. Both the titanium liners and backbar have been meticulously hand fileworked. A mosaic pin completes the handle. Nice work throughout!
