Description: Oregon knifemaker Alan Warren creates an exceptional knife. This utility/hunting knife has been in a private collection since it was made in the fall of 2009. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, Allen could have made it yesterday. The knife is accompanied by the original CoA from the maker.
The blade is hand ground 154CM stainless steel. By heat treating the blade to Hrc 60-61, Alan ensures a keen, long lasting edge. A hand satin finish lends an heirloom quality.
The nickel silver guard separates the African blackwood handle from the blade. Front and rear red G10 spacers surround the blackwood. The spacers are fluted. The handle swells gently at the palm for a comfortable, secure grip. Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle is completed with an African blackwood pommel.
The hand tooled, hand stitched leather custom sheath was also made by Alan. Warren’s sheathmaking is virtually as refined as his custom knife building.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
