Description: Journeyman Jody Muller is a maker worth watching. This mammoth ivory folder is an excellent example of his work. The hand forged blade shows off a bold random pattern and modified fuller. The blade shape is particularly unique and features a crescent grind. It is easily opened using the stainless steel thumb stud. The blade is perfectly centered and has silky-smooth action. The carbon damascus bolsters feature detailed engraving of a teepee on one side and the well-known “End of the Trail” horse and rider on the other. The End of the Trail sculpture was originally created by James Earl Fraser in 1915. Well-matched mammoth ivory scales in shades of deep greens and blues over a background of burnt cream make up the handles. Titanium liners and belt clip have been anodized to a complimentary shade of blue. The backbar has been hand fileworked. Meticulous work throughout.
