Description: South African knifemaker George Muller creates an exceptional knife! This gentleman's folder was kept in a private collection since it was made in 2008. It is in brand new condition and by all appearances, George could have made it yesterday!
The drop point, hollow ground blade is Swirlwind pattern damascus forged from three bars of twist pattern damascus. The blade is forged from carbon steel to ensure excellent edge holding and chip resistance. The spine is hand fileworked in a vine pattern for a comfortable thumb purchase. The knife can be opened easily using the right-handed thumb stud.
Cream toned ancient mammoth ivory scales are set on anodized and fileworked titanium liners. The scales are dovetailed to honeycomb damascus bolsters, also hand forged from carbon steels. This knife is very lightweight and comfortable to hold.
Excellent work throughout!
