Description: Swedish bladesmith Andre Andersson has an eye for design rarely found in other maker's work. This sole authorship knife shows off his work at its best.
The multi-bar Damascus blade has a central bars formed from pure nickel and 20C. The edge and spine bars are a dramatic firecracker pattern forged from 20C and 15N20 carbon steels. The armor piercing tip is both dramatic and results in a strong tip with a light, fast blade. Andre found inspiration for his antiqued and textured copper blade guard in the Japanese habaki.
The stacked handle combines cocobolo with sunken oak, textured and antiqued copper and more of Andre's Damascus. Warm tones in the cocobolo are nicely complimented by the antiqued copper. The front wood section is oak that was recovered from a ship that sunk off the Norwegian coast over 300 years ago. The copper throughout the knife results in an ancient appearance.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
