Description: This straight spine hunter by Raymond Richard has an ageless sense of grace that is rarely found in knives by other makers. The blade was forged to shape from a lumber mill saw blade. A distal taper to the blade assures a perfect balance. The antiqued blade is very dramatic.
The wrought iron for the fittings were forged from an 1800s era anchor chain and surround a curly maple handle. By sculpting the curly maple to swell at the center of the handle, Raymond assures a very comfortable, secure hand-hold. The butt is finished off with a wrought iron butt cap and loop.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
