Description: Swedish bladesmith Andre Andersson has an eye for design rarely found in other maker's work. His work is perhaps most influenced by both his father, Micke Andersson and Roger Bergh.
The deeply etched two bar Damascus steel blade has a very dramatic appearance and will hold an exceptional edge. The spine features a bold mosaic pattern, whereas the edge is a tight firecracker pattern forged from 15N20 and 20C carbon steels.
The stacked handle is formed from sections of mammoth ivory, stabilized willow burl, and warthog tusk. The sections are separated by pewter. Stabilized willow burl brings a tremendous sense of warmth to the knife. Textures in the cross-cut mammoth ivory nicely compliment the willow burl. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
