Description: Among the new mastersmiths in 2005 is John Horrigan. This exceptional hunter makes it clear why John was welcomed in as a new master. The ladder pattern Damascus blade has a high contrast pattern with tremendous chatoyancy. The bolsters are forged from John's own Mosaic Damascus. Contained within the Damascus are images of the state of Texas, a longhorn skull and a star. The bolsters are dovetailed to caramel toned fossil mammoth ivory scales. The distal tapered full has been distal tapered resulting in an optimal balance in the hand. Exceptional work throughout.
