Description: ABS Mastersmith Audra Draper makes an impressive knife and among those, her sheep horn hunters are highly coveted. The design clearly harkens back to her apprenticeship under Mastersmith Ed Fowler. She makes very few these days. To find one in black horn sheep is nearly unheard of.
The heat treatment follows the formulas developed by Ed Fowler and has been proven to create some of the sharpest and most long lasting edges found anywhere. A bold twist Damascus pattern travels across the blade. The blade has been differentially heat treated, assuring a strong spine and excellent edge retention. A nickel silver guard nicely balances the Damascus blade and black horn sheep handle. The handle is gently curved and provides a sure grip --even when wet. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
