Description: Canadian knifemaker Marty Beets creates a dramatic hunter using time-tested designs. This knife was in a private collection since it was made by Marty in the spring of 2005. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, Marty could have made it yesterday.
The Itcha Mountain Hunter is big enough to get most any job done, but compact enough to be comfortable to carry. It is designed as a knife that will be by your side each day, but will also be of tremendous utility while out in the field.
The blade is hand ground 440c stainless steel with a mirror polish. 440C ensures a keen, long lasting edge with plenty of strength behind it.
The stabilized maple burl handle includes an amber spacer for contrast. Polished brass fittings are used through. Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched leather custom sheath.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
