Description: This mean looking stiletto was created by the late Alex Collins back in 1996. The blade has a fascinating grind -- the left side features an almost triangular blade. The right features three hollow ground scallops. This results in a "single bevel" effect on the cutting edge. The base of the ricasso has been notched. The thick tang has been notched to provide a sure thumb rest. The butt is notched in a style that was a hallmark of Alex's work. Like the blade, which has a very different feel from left to right, the scales also continue this theme. The left scale is a dark Paakka wood, whereas the right is a lighter tone. Three brass pins affect the scales to the large tang. Exceptional work, showing tremendous skill at the grinder!
