Description: Webb knapps a blade that is truly amazing, and matches this with materials that are among the most rare and treasured. The spine of this blade has been knapped into detailed spikes, showing a tremendous amount of skill. These are knives that I generally would only expect to find in museums.
The jasper blade is primarily green tones, with slight red highlights that are picked up by the ochre pigmented caribou sinew used to wrap the haft. The handle is formed from fossilized walrus. This is displayed on a purple heart display stand. The blade sits securely on oosic and ironwood with fossil walrus ivory ornamentation. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
