Description: Randall Gilbreath has been making knives since the early 1970's. Today he focuses on both working fixed blades and folders. This Linerlock Folder was kept in a private collection since it was made back in the early 90's. It is in near mint condition, with just a couple of small marks in the titanium bolsters.
The 3 inch drop point blade is ATS-34 stainless steel with a hand rubbed satin finish. ATS-34 stainless steel is high in carbon and chromium giving excellent chip resistant, edge holding, and corrosion resistance. The hand ground blade features a hollow grind for an easy to maintain cutting edge. Gilbreath's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
The handle is jigged bone set on stainless steel liners. The liners are satin finished and jewel polished in the interior. The black G-10 backbar keeps the knife light, yet strong.
Nice work throughout!
