Description: This spectacular fighter by D'Alton Holder is a collector's dream. Created sometime between 1977 and 1980, this piece has been in a private collection and is in excellent condition. This pattern is one that D'Anton calls the model 4.
The blade was hollow ground and mirror polished for very strong grind lines. The clip has been sharpened. The nickel silver guard has been meticulously carved. The right scale has been scrimshawed to terrific detail by Jerry Tisdale and shows a very lifelike scene. An exceptional find!
