Description: Mastersmith Kevin Harvey is well known for creating replicas that have an air that captures the original work and yet adds to it. His attention to detail is spectacular. Samuel Bell, noted jeweler and knifemaker from the early 1800s was known for his fancy Bowie -- only 14 of which still survive today.
The blade features Kevin's Heart Beat Damascus. The right side has a strong fuller and sharpened chisel clip. A Spanish notch adds tremendous interest. The integral Damascus bolster meets up perfectly with the nickel silver sheath when fully inserted. The handle is created from carved whitelip mother of pearl and is set in nickel silver fittings. The scabbard fits perfectly to the blade and has a frog for wearing on a belt. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
