Description: This dramatic Bowie was created by Jay Hendrickson in 1996 and is in mint condition. The clip point blade has a fascinating and well developed pattern and shows a differential heat treat line. The guard has been fileworked on the sides. The curly maple handle was created from a single piece of curly maple (quite rare for Jay) and features matching vine and scalloped detail work in fine silver inlay each side. The large handle feels extremely comfortable in the hand. The sheath is very sturdy and has a laced leather throat. Excellent fit and finish throughout. A rare find!
