Description: Caramel and chocolate toned mammoth ivory scales are set on fully fileworked titanium liners. The dark heat blued fileworked spine sits between the liners for excellent contrast. The same filework pattern continues into the San Mai blade. High contrast Damascus has been forge welded to an 1870 carbon steel core. The result is a blade that is extremely dramatic and has superior edge retention. Red tones in the blade bring out warmth in the ivory. The thumbstud is an 18 karat gold tube set with a gemstone. Nice action and beautiful work from a maker who has strongly influenced how we perceive the Swedish folder.
