Description: This Damascus dagger is in the style of daggers from the 13th century. Journeyman smith Kevin Harvey has created one of the most captivating daggers to ever be on BladeGallery.com. The blade is hollow ground and mirror polished for an amazingly dramatic effect. The Damascus is extremely detailed and has tones that compliment the copper, with dark bronze, dark green, and reddish highlights when viewed under light. The copper fittings have been sculpted, textured, and antiqued. The gemsbok horn handle has been shaped, leaving a smooth surface with small sections of the raised horn. The sheath was first sculpted from wood and then lined with ostrich leather, sewn with a single seam in the back. Copper fittings finish out the throat and tip. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
