Description: Journeyman Smith Don Bell is an exceptional bladesmith located in Lincoln, MT. This knife was made while he was an apprentice. It has been in a single collection since it was first made in 2002. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition.
The drop point blade was forged to shape from 1084 carbon steel. A clear differential heat treatment line travels along the blade, providing a keen, long lasting edge, with a soft, supportive spine -- the best of both worlds. An heirloom quality satin finish lends tremendous elegance. A distal taper to the blade gives this hunter excellent balance.
The handle combines buckeye burl and ebony with brass fittings. Warm tones throughout the wood and fittings are quite enticing.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched leather sheath. Excellent fit and finish throughout!
