Description: Primitive Woodsman Knives are made in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Primitive Woodsman Knives is led by bladesmith Josh Morgan. Having grown up spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing, Josh knows what is required to make a good knife. He had the opportunity to learn the subtleties of knifemaking from Mastersmith Jason Knight while working at a prominent knife company in Boone, NC. The influence of this company and Jason Knight is immediately evident looking at Primitive Woodsman Knives We are excited to offer these American-made knives at BladeGallery.
The EDC knife is a nice compromise of being comfortable in your hand and comfortable on the belt. Jason Knight's influence can be clearly seen from the harpoon blade to the hollow ground fullers. This is a knife you will be happy to have with you when it is needed.
The 3-1/2 inch blade is 80CrV2 carbon steel, providing extreme toughness and excellent edge holding. The blade features a black oxide finish to prevent light reflection. The flat grind is razor sharp. Because the knife is made from carbon steel, we recommend using camellia oil to prevent oxidation.
Maple handle scales are set on the full tang using a brass pin and lanyard tube. The contoured handle provides a comfortable grip that prevents your hand from slipping.
To keep the knife close at hand, a leather sheath is included. A tin of wax to protect the knife is included.
Made by artisans in the USA.
