Description: South African knifemaker Nico Bosman is an exceptionally talented knifemaker. This folder is his Featherweight Flipper model. At just 3.4 oz, it is easy to carry, yet this folder would easily be the centerpiece of most any collection.
The blade is perfectly centered with silky-smooth, drop-shut action -- easily opened with one hand using the ambidextrous flipper toggle. It runs on Rausch caged bearings, ensuring consistent, smooth action.
The blade is American-made Crucible CPM-S35VN stainless steel The premium steel and an exceptional heat treatment ensure optimal edge holding and durability. The blade is hollow ground to a thin, high-performance edge. The spine is rounded for a comfortable thumb purchase. Nico's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
Handle scales are blackwood carbon fiber set on blue anodized titanium liners. The liners surround a matching carbon fiber backspacer. Anodized titanium Rausch external pivots make it easy to adjust tension over time. The handle is completed with a 3D machined titanium pocket clip mounted for tip-up, right-side carry.
Exceptional work throughout!
