Description: Mastersmith Tommy Gann makes an exceptional knife. His sense of design is only matched by his skill of implementation. This slipjoint folder is exceptionally well made and will feel right at home whether in a private collection or carried daily in the pocket.
The clip point blade is 52100 carbon steel with a meticulous hand rubbed satin finish. Many knifemakers and users feel that 52100 is among the highest performing steels currently used to make knives. A nail nick makes it easy to open the knife. The blade has smooth, consistent action and a firm half stop, easily opened with a medium pull.
Jigged ebony handle scales are set on satin finished stainless steel liners. The scales are perfectly fit to 416 stainless steel bolsters. The bolsters and escutcheon feature copper inlay. This slim profile knife is lightweight and easy to carry.
Excellent work throughout!
