Description: Cliff Parker creates knives that push the limits of what is possible. The action is super-smooth and blade perfectly centered. He has created a very sleek profiled liner lock folder with a total thickness of .34". Due to the complexity of the mechanism, liner locks tend to be fairly thick. Over the years, Cliff has spent considerable time testing and experimenting with his designs to create a knife that is sturdy, but as low profile as possible. This knife was kept in a private collection since it was made. It is in brand new condition and by all appearances, Cliff could have made it yesterday!
The blade is perfectly centered and has silky smooth action. It can be deployed easily using the right-side thumbstud inlaid with ancient mammoth ivoryl.
The blade and bolsters are Parker's own mosaic damascus forged from carbon steel. The highly detailed damascus is extremely engaging and will have you staring at the fine details for hours. Because the knife is forged from carbon steels we recommend using camellia oil to oil the blade, bolsters, and natural ivory handle.
The bolsters meet perfectly to the presentation grade ancient woolly mammoth ivory scales. Green tones in the ivory are particularly rare and are introduced by minerals in the soil where the ivory was buried for thousands of years. Anodized titanium liners are meticulously hand fileworked. The liners surround a matching damascus backbar.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
