Description: South African knifemaker Nico Pelzer is best known for creating exceptionally detailed, finely tuned folders. A perfect blend of presentation and functionality, this front flipper will feel right at home in your pocket, but could easily be the center piece of a serious knife collection.
The blade is hand ground stainless damascus forged by Damasteel in Sweden. This high performing damascus is created using powder metallurgical steel manufacturing to provide excellent edge retention and unmatched beauty. The blade can be easily deployed using front flipper tab. It is perfectly centered and has smooth, consistent action.
Ancient woolly mammoth ivory scales are set on anodized titanium liners. The scales are brought to a high polish and show cream, caramel, and rare green tones throughout the ivory. These colors move into the ivory while buried in the permafrost for thousands of years. The scales are heirloom fit to heat colored titanium damascus bolsters. The liners surround a heat colored titanium damascus backspacer. The handle is finished with a 3D machined titanium pocket clip, mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
