Description: South African knifemaker Jaco de Kock creates an exceptional folder. This Model NS Flipper can easily be the highlight of any collection. The fit and finish along with choice of materials is exceptional!
The blade is hand ground RWL-34 stainless steel with a hand rubbed satin finish. RWL-34 is a premium powder metallurgy cutlery steel manufactured by Damasteel in Söderfors, Sweden. Because it is made from rapidly solidified powders, the microstructure of the steel is much more uniform. This gives the steel higher strength and resistance to cracks and chips. The grinds feature a hand rubbed satin finish and the flats are mirror polished. Jaco's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
Handle scales are black camo carbon fiber set on jewel polished titanium liners. The scales are nicely fit to heat colored zirconium bolsters. A polished spacer adds contrast between the black scales and bolster. The polished and beveled titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
A hard shell protective case with laser engraved certificate of authenticity is included.
Excellent work throughout!
