Description: This small knife was made by Arizona knifemaker Dan Zvonek. It has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. It is in excellent condition. It does not appear to have ever been used.
The drop point blade is hollow ground and polished 440C stainless steel. At 3 inches, the blade is compact, yet long enough to get most tasks effortless completed. Dan's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
Handle scales are Arizona desert ironwood set on a distal tapered full tang for strength and durability. Desert ironwood (Olneya tesota) is a rare wood that is only found in the valleys of the Sonoran Desert below 2,500 foot elevation. It is extremely dense and durable. In fact, it is so dense, that if a piece is dropped in water it will sink! The ironwood scales meet with polished stainless steel bolsters in an elegant curve. Despite its small size, this knife feels great in the hand.
Nice work throughout!
