Description: This Die Hard Flipper by French knifemaker Tashi Bharucha is an exceptional knife. This knife has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. By all appearances, Tashi could have made it yesterday.
The hand ground laddered Ws damascus forged by renowned Belgian knifemaker Sam Lurquin. The intricate pattern is extremely complex and is shown off nicely on Tashi’s broad blade. By forging the steel from carbon steels, Sam ensures this folder will have exceptional edge holding and chip resistance. The blade is perfectly centered with silky smooth, drop shut action -- easily opened with one hand using the ambidextrous flipper tab. It runs on caged bearings and has a nice detent, lockup, and blade seating.
The handle combines Copper Space Coral FatCarbon with rare copper niobium super conductor bolsters. Anodized titanium liners surround a heat colored zirconium backspacer. The 3D machined titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
This dress Die Hard Flipper is accompanied by the original Tashi Bharucha padded zipper case
Exceptional work throughout from a tremendously hard-to-find knifemaker.
