Description: This skinner by Raymond Richard has an ageless sense of grace that is rarely found in knives by other makers. The blade was forged to shape from 5160 carbon steel. A differential heat treatment ensures a softer, supportive spine with a hard, keen edge.
The wrought iron for the fittings were forged from an 1800s era anchor chain. A premium sambar stag antler forms the handle -- resulting in a secure, comfortable grip. The end of the handle is completed with an antique wrought iron butt cap.
The knife is accompanied by a Scandinavian-influenced custom sheath. The hand tooled single-seam leather is wrapped around a wood form.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
