Description: Bullock Brothers Knives are made by Tom Bullock by hand in the United Kingdom. Though he has only been making knives full time since April 2021, don't be fooled because his work is exceptional! Tom often brings the hand forged aesthetic to his knives, which is rare to see in slip joint folders. After seeing his knives in person, I was extremely pleased to be able to represent Tom's knives here in the United States. His fit and finish and attention to all the details is fantastic!
The blade is perfectly centered with a firm half stop -- easily opened with the right handed thumb nick. It has smooth, consistent action and a lighter pull.
The blade is hand forged by Tom from three layers of 1095 carbon steel, copper, and nickel. The high contrast of the copper in the Cu-mai blade is extremely engaging. The blade features an antiqued finsihed in the grinds to provide limited rust resistance and is satin finished in the flats. The nail nick is on the left side of the blade.
The scales were ground from an antique phenolic bowling ball secured to the liners using torx screws. They are set on 304 stainless steel liners. A torx pivot allows the action on the blade to be adjusted - an uncommon and highly desirable feature on a slipjoint folder.
Excellent work throughout!
