He is a tremendous smith at the forge and his attention to detail really shows through in his slip joint folders.
Both blades are forged from Bruce's ladder pattern damascus. This complex pattern is immediately captivating. The high contrast pattern looks great from a distance, yet reveals further intricacies upon closer examination. The blades have consistent action with a firm half stop.
The blades are perfectly centered and have smooth, consistent action with a firm half stop. It can be easily opened using the nail nick.
Mammoth ivory bark scales are set on fileworked stainless steel liners with hand domed pins. The ancient ivory shows the incredible colors that move into the ivory while buried in the permafrost for thousands of years. Satin finished 416 stainless steel bolsters are fit perfectly to the scales.
