Description: K-36II Bushcraft Knife is the work of Arkansas knifemaker Bob Dozier. Dozier's current wait list is a bit over three years. Bob has always enjoyed focusing his work around the high performance hunting knife and working folders. This knife has been in a private collection. While Dozier knives are currently made by Dan Crotts, this knife was made around 2010 and was more likely made by Bob Dozier himself. It has been meticulously cared for and by all appearances it could have been made yesterday.
The 3.9 inch drop point blade is D2 semi-stainless steel. The drop point blade features a high performance Scandi-grind. It is hollow ground for an easy-to-maintain edge. D2 is known for its ability to hold an exceptional edge while requiring just a little bit of additional care -- to prevent rusting, it is important to dry the blade after use.
The handle is constructed from black micarta secured using two oversized stainless hidden bolt rivets. The ergonomic handle provides a very comfortable grip. A lanyard can be added to the rear lined tube if desired.
To keep the knife protected during transportation, a black Kydex horizontal carry sheath is included.
