Description: Luke Swenson is a fulltime knifemaker originally out of Lakehills, Texas. He recently moved to Plumber, Idaho. He is well known for his high quality slipjoint folding knives that he learned to make under the watchful eye of renowned knifemaker Bill Ruple. Luke offers a lifetime warranty with all of his work.
Both blades are Yu-Shoku san mai. This san mai features undulating, brightly colored brass, copper and stainless steel sides surrounding a high performance V-Toku2 core. V-Toku2 has exceptional edge holding and toughness and is often compared to 52100 carbon steel. Luke's maker mark is on the ricasso of the clip point blade.
The blades have smooth and consistent action with firm half stops. There is zero blade play and each blade is perfectly centered.
Handle scales are amber jigged bone secured to the frame using hand domed pins. A matching Yu-Shoku escutcheon is inlaid perfectly into the left side of the handle. The scales meet seamlessly with Yu-Shoku damascus bolsters.
Exceptional work throughout!
