Description: Mastersmith Tommy Gann makes an exceptional knife. His sense of design is only matched by his skill of implementation. This Slipjoint Folder is exceptionally well made and will feel right at home whether in a private collection or carried daily in the pocket.
The clip point blade is 52100 carbon steel. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality to the knife. Many knifemakers and users feel that 52100 is among the highest performing steels currently used to make knives. A long nail nick makes it easy to open the knife. The blade has smooth, consistent action, easily opened with a light pull.
Dyed and stabilized maple burl handle scales are secured to stainless steel liners using three pins. Front and rear bolsters are satin finished 416 stainless steel. At only 2 ounces, this knife is extremely lightweight and will carry well in any pocket.
Excellent work throughout!
