Description: Mastersmith Tommy Gann makes an exceptional knife. His sense of design is only matched by his skill of implementation. This elegant hunter/EDC brings together his talents into one sharp package!
The blade is 52100 carbon steel. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality to the knife. Many knifemakers and users feel that 52100 is among the highest performing steels currently used to make knives. Jimping along the spine provides an excellent thumb purchase. The thin blade will cut well and will be a perfect bird and trout or a lightweight belt knife.
Black paper Micarta scales are set on the full tang for strength and durability. The blade and tang are nicely tapered providing excellent balance and reducing weight. At just 2 ounces, this knife is light enough to carry anywhere and not notice it until it is needed.
This knife is accompanied by a hand stitched leather custom sheath. A clip allows the sheath to be worn in the pocket or on the belt.
Exceptional work throughout!
