Description: This is one of Warren's model 32 front lock interframe folders. The Mike Norris Damascus blade is well etched and high contrast for a clear pattern and has a boot grind. Mike forged this blade from AEBH (Swedish scalpel steel), 302, and D2 stainless steels. Simon Lytton, member of the Knifemakers' Guild and European master, engraved a bighorn sheep and mountain scene on the front left bolster and scrollwork on the remaining three bolsters. Simon's work is clean, crisp, and truly exceptional. The mastodon scales are a rich milk-chocolate brown with dark chocolate veins. The color is remarkably even, which is indicative of true mastodon ivory, rather than mammoth ivory. The backlock is inset into the center of the backbar and is very secure.
