Description: Mastersmith Kevin Harvey is well known for his tremendous attention to detail -- only matched by his skill at design. He is well known around the world for producing extremely high quality hunting knives at a price that would be hard to find anywhere in the United States. Kevin and Heather Harvey are one of only a few husband and wife Mastersmith teams in the world and have been extremely influential through the knifemaking school they founded called Heavin Forge. Mastersmith Kevin Harvey teaches bladesmithing courses, with students travelling from all over the world to learn his techniques.
The blade is hand ground mosaic damascus combining jellyroll and radials patterns. The high contrast pattern is extremely engaging. Kevin's maker mark is on the ricasso.
The handle is mortised tang stag. Hand domed nickel silver pins set the scales in place. A lined hole makes it easy to add a lanyard if desired. The damascus guard is carved to match the natural texture of the stag.
To keep the knife close at hand, a custom sheath is included. The sheath is made from stag and completed with a nickel silver tip. A damascus button provides nice contrast.
Exceptional work throughout!
