Description: Norwestr is a tremendous knife by Seattle native, Jeff Driscoll. Driscoll brought his full skill and attention to detail to creating this masterpiece which will feel as at home out in the field as in any collection.
Norwestr is a fusion of two popular knife style. The western part is a Jay Hendrickson inspired swell handle with stag bolster and pommel. Two nickel silver hand fileworked spacers are reflected by four copper spacers. These add weight to the handle, making it a well balanced, and secure grip. The Nordic part is a half wood, half leather Nordic style sheath. The sapele, ironwood, and leather sheath is sculpted with facets and will hold the knife securely without the need for straps or fasteners.
The heat colored mosaic damascus blade was forged to shape by Ukrainian bladesmith Gregorii Verizhnikov. It is extremely intricate, dramatic, and high performing.
Exceptional work throughout!
